The Team : Deloitte's Operations Transformation services help clients to reimagine and reconfigure the inner workings of their organization, enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, identify and capture new growth opportunities, and to surpass their business objectives.

Level: Senior Consultant

Work you'll do :

The professional will work in Deloitte India Consulting. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm's Consulting business, strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. The professional will own sensing of new opportunities, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and demonstrate solid analytical and writing skills. The team's projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.

Core responsibilities :

- Own and manage assigned tasks

- Collaborate across the firm to help assess and prioritize strategic projects to best align with corporate strategy and growth objectives

- Develop in-depth financial models using advanced financial analysis and excel skills

- Gather, analyse, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations

- Demonstrate and apply solid knowledge of management frameworks

- Develop high quality power point presentations for internal meetings and projects

- Support the managers, senior managers, and associate directors in commercializing existing assets and advise on the development, market positioning and commercialization of net-new assets

- Solid project management skills, with the ability to seamlessly switch between different workstreams

- Actively share best practices, develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing :

- Academic qualification: Master's Degree like MBA

- Work experience: 6+ years, with at least 3 years of post-MBA experience

- Industry experience: Consumer or Automotive, Industrial products

- Functional experience: Sales & Strategy

- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy

- Location: Preferable Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune

Requisite core skills :

- Self-motivated, innovative, and strong team player

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong core consulting skills - i.e. analytical, primary and secondary research, presentation, and financial modelling, including logical structuring and storyboarding, superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

- Ability to integrate and synthesize large sets of data and broad stakeholder perspectives into meaningful insights

- Solid knowledge of strategy models and frameworks

- Accustomed to working in teams, including virtual teams. Highly developed personal and professional ethics are expected

- Strong presentation and verbal and written communication skills, and experience communicating to, and working with, virtual teams, and senior leadership

- Must possess the ability to handle highest level of confidential information.

- Knowledge and previous experience in innovation, strategy, operations or technology domain

- Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment with many competing priorities

- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
