This is an Individual contributor sales role where the incumbent would be responsible for the sale of entire range of Dell’s Consumer products for the assigned territory. The person would work with Consumer Channel partners & Retail Partners. This role will look after North Bengal.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Sales and distribution of multiple product lines including laptops, desktops, tablets, TFT and peripherals in the territory
- Should be the single point of contact for channel issues and be able to resolve them
- Implementing Innovative ideas & executing marketing program to drive sales
- Implement channel sales programs to enhance Dell´s presence at partner’s point of sales through Indirect Channels (Retailers, Wholesalers and Resellers)
- Work with Dell’s partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities.
- Identify cost effective and practical alternatives for the channel by bundling products/service “solutions” to maximize Dell’s opportunity while meeting customer’s needs.
- Develop, motivate and coordinate Dell sales team and Partner’s sales team to optimize sales execution
Bachelor’s Degree , MBA would be an advantage.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Distribution / Channel Sales with excellent market knowledge in the assigned region.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Good negotiation skills to achieve desired results/meet customer needs
