Job Title: Advanced analytics Senior Advisor

Role Overview:The candidate will be responsible for developing analytics solutions for the the retail and financial services industry and will engage with sales and pre-sales teams in customer interactions

Role Responsibilities :

- Work as a part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics practice

- Collaborate closely with the Global teams to develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies to grow Advanced Analytics & Information Management presence in existing and new accounts with focus on our Commercial and BFSI vertical

- Work with Account/Sales teams to manage the pre-sales process with clients and provide the thought leadership throughout the sales-cycle from initial qualification to closure of the deal

- Play an advisory role to customers and prospects and provide thought leadership & advanced analytics (predictive and prescriptive analytics) solutions to customers

- Work with India/Global based practice teams on RFPs/Events/Go-to-Market (GTM) on solutions

- Own account plans and targets, including forecasting revenue and order book, maintaining and growing pipeline funnel

- Work with the identified key alliance partners and software vendors to jointly develop and own GTM plans

- Should be able to execute short term strategic consulting projects, assessments, POCs around building new data models to solve business problems

- Assessing current client programs (carrying out research and data collection; conducting analysis; interviewing client's employees, management team and other stakeholders; running focus groups and facilitating workshops, identifying issues and forming hypotheses)

- Developing the business vision for client companies

- Developing new delivery strategy – leveraging the Global Delivery Model

- Managing work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position

Requirements:

- Ideal candidate will have an overall 8+ years of work experience with at least 5 years in the area of model development for advanced analytics

- Sales and presales Experience: 5+ Years

- Data modeling and solutioning experience

- Strong experience in retail industry and some experience in BFSI

- Prior experience in a highly collaborative and matrix’ed environment or any experience with a Global Delivery Model based IT Services company will be an added advantage.

- Prior experience in one of more of the following areas will be an added advantage: Information management – MDM, Big data, data appliances

- Other Skills: Excellent Communication, Customer Interaction and Presentation Skills are mandatory

- Should be comfortable interacting with Sr. IT and Business Leadership levels (COO/ CIO Levels) within the Customer space

- Knowledge of SAS, Predictive modelling and R software is must.

MBA from a reputed college will be preffered.
