Senior Business Analyst- Performance Analytics Group (PAG), Bangalore, India
The Sr. Business Analyst role is a critical, internal customer facing role accountable for all aspects of customer management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, drive and implement Dell Services external market analysis to support RTB & CTB (Run / Change the Business) operations of the Customer (Product Management team)
- Develop and Maintain Market Sizing model
- Analyze and provide critical insights on Market trends & directions, Impact of new technologies, Analysis of new market / offer opportunities
- Develop a detailed competitive view through compilation of data from multiple sources including sales/marketing, primary and secondary market research, and mining of internal and external data
- Provide critical insights on Dells competitive positioning to assist with product planning, sustaining business management, and delivery benchmarking and sales enablement.
- Extrapolate findings into recommendations for opportunities to improve and differentiate Dells offerings
- Engage with partners to understand & meet their strategic market analytics requirements
- Work on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables - integrating trends, data and information into plans deliverables and recommendations
- Proactively develop innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improves business performance and contribute to organizations goals and strategic intent
- Adapt projects, programs or methods based on partner feedback
- Anticipate operational program, and implementation issues and develop measures
- Ensure timely delivery of reports/analysis
- Ensure 100% data accuracy in each deliverable.
- Provide for business continuity of deliverables / analyses

- Market Intelligence/Consulting driving analysis for Technology Services
- Deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery
- Secondary Research & Primary Research (Predominantly secondary research)
- Presentation skills (PowerPoint)
- Advanced Excel (including Pivot tables, Lookups, Macros, etc)
- Structured approach towards problem solving

Other Requirements
- Should have worked in roles with exposure to market research / pricing / marketing / sales / product analytics. Preferably between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated the ability to think creatively and come up with ideas / thoughts for process & business improvement
- Candidate should exhibit the ability to absorb and develop domain knowledge in the hardware industry (Laptop, Desktop, Server, Storage, etc.)
Preferences
- Past exposure to providing analytical solutions and exposure to key analytical tools
- Past experience in High Tech industries
- MBA from a good Management institute preferably with an Engineering background
- Good academic record
