Planner Buyer Sr. Analyst (SQL+SSIS expert)

Role Overview : 4 years of relevant experience as a business analyst in Analytics / BI / Consulting role.

Role Responsibilities :

- Refresh data infrastructure (databases)

- Refresh and produce monthly reports (Tableau dashboards)

- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support spend management objectives

- Investigate spend with Analyst and Business partner

- Report to leadership regularly on Spend Management findings/exceptions after vetting with Business

- Liaise with business and provide input on reports and Spend Management findings/exceptions

Requirements :

Skills set (required) :

- Advanced knowledge of SQL - MSBI, SQL Server, Tableau

- Good at automating the reports through Excel/VBA, SQL /Access

- Good analytical skills, ability to provide data backed analysis

- Very good with PowerPoint presentations

- Proven record of dealing with large sets of data

- Good in data extraction, consolidation and warehousing

- Worked in the SC and/or operations domain of any analytics firm

Additional Skills :

- Good at SharePoint, MS Access, and other office tools

- Understands and applies principles, concepts, theories, technologies and standards of professional field.

- Works under general direction.

- Work is guided by objectives of the area or assignment.

- Focus on execution of project plan and work on multiple projects

- Assumes responsibility to improve service, efficiency and quality of work.

- Recognizes and acts on inconsistencies in data or results and escalates unusual problems.

- Identifies issues beyond stated situation.

- Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools and procedures to accomplish job.
