Dell - Senior Analyst - Accounting

As an Accounting Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for general accounting & preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation statements. You would coordinate with the internal and statutory audits and closely work with the business finance team.

- Responsible for fixed assets accounting across 4 locations PAN India

- Capitalization, depreciation and retirement of fixed assets in line with accounting policies

- Responsible for periodic physical verification and reconciliation.

- Calculating depreciation as per UGAAP, IGAAP and Income Tax Act of India

- Closely work with STPI and SEZ compliance team on bonded assets

- Tracking all outstanding balances and action for closures

- Provide supporting information and documents for internal and external auditors

- Preparation of monthly BSR (Balance Sheet Reconciliation) statements and upload in tool

- Intercompany activity across 30+ countries

- Intercompany Invoicing and revenue recognition

- Reviewing various GL accounts

- Coordination with internal and statutory auditors

- Periodic reconciliation of intercompany balances across countries.

- Timely inward and outward remittances.

- Track intercompany agreements and contracts

- Provide supporting information and documents for STPI and SEZ compliances

- Comply with armslength invoicing across segments and locations

- Accounting accruals for month/quarter close

- Payroll accounting for 12000+ employees

- Accrual of payroll and reconciliation across segments and locations

- Comply with provisions with reference to retirement benefits

- Timely booking of remittances.

- Tracking all outstanding balances and action for closures

- Provide supporting information and documents for internal and external auditors

- Closely work with business finance, tax, legal team

Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience

- Working experience in ERP environment

- Working knowledge of accounting principles, policies and practices

- Strong process knowledge

- Sound knowledge of Accounting tools and Excel

Graduates/ post Graduates/ Semi Qualified CA, CS, ICWA with:

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work across countries
