Dell - Senior Adviser - Accounting - CA - IGAAP/USGAAP

We are looking for a professional, organized, reliable, team player to join our growing Accounting Organization. Under general supervision, the team member will be primarily responsible for handling statutory audit and tax accounting support. He /She will be responsible for preparing financial statement as per IGAAP.

Candidate has to work with global accounting / shared services team and should ensure a smooth audit close in a timely manner. The role is a vital part to the success of Dell's statutory accounting team. This role reports to the Accounting Sr. Manager. Stakeholders include global / regional accounting team, tax team statutory / internal auditors.

Role Responsibilities :

- Good knowledge of accounting principles, IGAAP & experience in US GAAP

- Robust knowledge of audit standards, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements and frameworks

- Preparation financials and strong holds on numbers

- Coordination with Auditors and getting the audit done

- Work closely with the Tax team and support to direct and Indirect tax assessment

- Work closely with statutory compliance team

- Accounting accruals for month/quarter close

- Review of BSR (Balance Sheet Reconciliation)

- Coordination with accounting team of other Dell group companies globally

- Chartered Accountant with 8 + years of post-qualification experience in accounting

- Exposure to US GAAP, Indian GAAP, Taxation Accounting

- Experience of dealing with external auditors, internal auditors and statutory authorities

- Excellent communication skills, analytical & numerical ability

- High performing individual with strong business sense

- Team player, should be able to create synergy and interact with, cross functional team

- Ability to keep track of details and work within deadlines.

- Have excellent written, oral communication skills. good interpersonal skills
