Opportunity with Dell International Services for Risk Consultant role!!! (13-16 yrs)
This role is designed to assist Dell Services Sales making teams in evaluating large complex deals whereby identifying potential risks and mitigations that are used to assist delivery teams in delivering strong, reliable solutions and therefore creating a highly satisfied client.
- Drawing on past sales, delivery, finance, negotiation, project management, and resource management experience you- ll work directly with all areas of the sales support team to collect key requirements, you- ll collect and validate assumptions, identify issues, and document risks with strong mitigation plans.
- You- ll then provide your analysis of the overall risk profile to be consumed by Sales and delivery management teams to accept or reject pursuit of the deal.
Role Responsibilities :
- Responsible for overall accountability and ownership for successful development of risk mitigation and issue resolution for deals rated as HIGH or HIGH - $50M in a timely manner.
- Provide strategic leadership in the development of the risk profile and the assessment by stakeholders.
- Lead the integrated development of the Risk Assessment Profile with the necessary stakeholders.
- Actively engage, and prioritize for stakeholders the assumptions and issues that need to be refined or addressed in the Risk Profile
- Proactively review the Risk Profile with the Pursuit Team and Stakeholders as needed.
- Collect any decisions and assess their impact to the overall profile
- Challenge findings and ensure that all teams are cross-functionally evaluating the profile details.
- Deliver Executive Briefings on High Complexity and High Complexity - $50M deals and provide formal recommendations on actions for the executive team
- Proactively update Services Innovation / Improvement by owning and driving initiatives to improve Risk Assessment Profile process.
- Actively develop and maintain plans for completing integrated Risk Assessment Profile to be in sync with expected customer deal life cycle.
Requirements :
- Preferred 10+ years of IT Outsource delivery experience
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in managing service delivery teams
- Preferred 2+ years of progressive IT services sales
- Preferred 2+ years of experience with services estimating
- Proven ability to engage at senior management or decision makers across all areas of delivery
- Ability to work collaboratively with others using interdependent thinking
- Strong project management skills
- Self-motivated, but also a team player
- Advanced Degree or equivalent experience, preferable Computer Science, Marketing, Communication or Business degree courses.
- Familiar with the portfolio of Dell Services offerings
- Excellent communication, decision making and planning skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality, deal review and governance.
- Take responsibility for own professional development in the areas of quality and risk management
- Ability to present logical facts to clearly relate a position during disagreements
- Comfortable with Matrix Management
