As the APJ EUC Consumer PLO, you are responsible for the proactive & effective program management and operational excellence in executing product lifecycle management from planning through launch, to end-of-life and transition. You are also our DBM operations champion and works seamlessly with Global EUC Operations group in Consumer Lifecycle planning to govern deliverables in the T-minus schedule.
Role Responsibilities:
As focal person in managing and coordinating activities across all functional teams, such as Sales, SCM, DMA, NPI, Demand Supply team, for all new launches and sustaining products.
Maintaining a close working relationship with cross functional Marketing Operations teams on product-specific SKU set up, validation and rules setting, with the aim to always improve operational efficiency and data accuracy of the sales order system.
Taking accountability in managing the Fixed Hardware Configuration cycles which includes the tracking of merchandising cycle timelines, gaining regional BU alignment on configs offerings/promotions to drive revenue and market share growth. Tracking of BTS FGA timeline and progression, and working closely with
Demand Supply team on demand shaping and mix planning.
Prepare and track new product launch checklist and lead the Launch Readiness meetings with cross functional teams.
Coordinate and verify online content for new product launch and EOL with Online team and PLM. Managing web content to ensure accuracy, timeliness and MDA compliance of product content.
Internalize Dell Business Model (DBM) developments and continuously striving for tools and process improvement opportunity
Role Requirements:
- 7-9 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- A sparkling personality with a positive disposition to engage across all levels of the organization.
- Be able to communicate effectively (written & verbal) in a crisp, succinct and respectful manner that motivates collaboration and win-win outcomes.
- Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals
- Strong analytical skills and with knowledge of Excel, Power point, other modeling tools
- Able to deal with complex situations and learn as you go
- Attention to detail balanced with high level process overview/improvements
- Business Acumen (understanding of the sales cycle)
- Self-directed and motivated
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, demanding and evolving environment.
- Bachelor Degree Required, MBA Preferred - or equivalent work experience
