Salesforce.com Practice Manager
Dell is seeking an innovative and passionate Practice Manager to be a leader of our growing Salesforce.com practice, who shall be responsible for globally leading a team of Salesforce.com Consultants and Delivery Managers that works on implementing CRM & Force.com based cloud solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the global team of SFDC Consultants and Delivery Managers from a people management as well as delivery management perspective.
- Manage the Delivery function of the Salesforce.com Practice that shall include taking ownership of the global delivery from a schedule, quality and customer satisfaction perspective.
- Manage the Presales function of the Salesforce.com Practice that shall include account planning, handling Proposals from RFP to SOW and other activities such as Solution Architecture, Effort Estimation, Resource Ramp Up, Costing, Demos, Oral Presentations etc.
- Manage resourcing of the Delivery Teams across the globe by working with the local Delivery Managers that shall include Hiring consultants globally and optimally allocate project managers & resources to the projects to achieve the best possible team combinations.
- Regularly monitor the health of the projects in the practice to ensure that the projects are following the laid out processes, have a good risk mitigation plan and are delivered on schedule without compromising quality.
- Regularly engage with the customers to ensure to continuous customer feedback as well as handle any customer escalations for any delivery related issues.
- Lead the Center of Excellence (COE) for Salesforce.com to ensure that the team is continuing creating unique solutions that differentiate Dell from the rest of the completion as well as creating accelerators that speed up the implementation of the solutions in order to enable a faster time to market and a better ROI (Return of Investment) for the Dell customers. Another goal is to ensure continuous growth of the team members by creating challenging assignments for them via the COE.
- Ensure continuous Employee Engagement of the entire practice team via staff meetings, all hands, celebrations, 1x1s etc. and conducting Performance Appraisals of the direct reports.
- Represent the Salesforce.com Practice within the organization from a delivery standpoint and present presentations capabilities and growth of the practice to the Senior Leadership team.
- Manage cross-functional partnerships required for the practice and ensure regular cadence with the partners.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 15 years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years in a leadership position.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SFDC Consulting services.
- Experience in leading a global SFDC team of more than 75 Consultants.
- Experience in owning and driving industry solutions on the SFDC platform.
- Experience in People Management and conducting Performance Reviews of experienced and skilled resources.
- Experience in leading Delivery & Presales function of the growing technology practice.
- Certified SFDC Consultant.

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sales and Marketing
- Certified Salesforce.com Architect
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
