Financial Analysis Advisor- Qualified CA

Role Responsibilities :

Controller for Opex for a line of business and managing opex of $50M across supporting various leaders. The role will also entail long handling various other transformational initiatives in the Global Solution Center and Tools and automation areas. Will have ownership of the Opex (including forecasts, plans and actuals), FP&A activities, and provide support to the respective business Leaders.

- Own & Manage the Opex, including Reporting, Forecasting, outlook, variance analysis

- Understanding of the Opex model & cost recognition implications

- Integrates trends, data and information into plans, forecast/ outlook & also in other deliverables and recommendations.

- Complete understanding of Headcount, average costs and budgets

- Detailed analysis of Opex and headcount & provide feedback to the business on operational efficiency opportunities

- Evaluate risks & opportunities & work on remediation plans with the business

- Key customers are business leaders, LOB Finance and FPA.

- Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.

Problem solving :

- Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.

- Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations.

- Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve

- Business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent.

- Opportunity/risk analyses

Cost/benefit analyses :

- Anticipates operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures.

- Adapts projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback.

Job Duty Differentiated :

- Coordinates the financial planning process for a business unit.

- Assists management in developing budgets and understanding profitability of the business.

- Assists management on strategic initiatives.

Knowledge & Experience :

- Good communication and business partnership skills. Previous experience in a business finance role preferable

- Good financial acumen around contract financials and accounting

- Strong FP&A skills are core to the job. Previous experience in PnL management, working with leadership preferred.

- Ability to understand and be able to correlate operational activities and their impact on the contract financials

- Insightful variance analysis and driving account towards higher revenue and profitability

- Familiarity with Oracle financials, Hyperion is a plus

Experience & Education :

- 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

- Preferably CA with 4+ years of relevant experience

- Working in a large Indian / multinational organization preferred
