IT Systems Integration Director - Global Enterprise Technology Services

Job Family Summary :

Directs the Global Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) solutions in India. GETS Solutions including Enterprise Consulting & Deployment services.

Utilizes the company and/or a third-party's products, processes, resources and services in the solutions. Oversees the completion of customer solutions and strategies based on the analysis of the customer's business goals, objectives, needs, and general business environment. Provides both business leadership and technical leadership.

Principal Accountabilities :

- Directs the efforts of GETS India team members in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives.

- Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.

- Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.

- Meets established targets financial & operation goals.

- Formulates, gains approval from leadership for, and executes GETS initiatives to improve the standard process, methods, deliverables, operational, and COGS of the group.

- Participate with the GETS strategic development and design of principles, processes, models, and standards that address business requirements and goals.

- Leads the achievement of customer experience goal from a technical perspective.

- Acts as an informational source on organizational practices and procedures for GETS India.

- Takes lead in addressing both internal and external issues regarding consulting and deployment services.

Nature of Work :

- Provides direction and guidance for operations, administration and results for a GETS India that consists of Consulting and Deployment Services.

- Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning.

- Collaborates with subordinate leadership to set strategy and business objectives.

- May influence the strategic and/or long-term focus for the function.

- Provides leadership and direction through lower-level leaders.

- Implements tactical and strategic change through subordinate leaders.

Strategic Influence :

- Work is guided by functional strategy.

- Establishes operational objectives for leaders and/or teams of professionals across the sub-function.

- Implements policies and defines approach to strategy achievement for area managed.

- Decisions may impact overall business, but are mainly related to the department or work area.

- Provides authoritative advice to top leadership based on deep subject matter expertise.

- Accountable for related performance objectives.

- Initiates integrated business plans based on senior leadership strategy.

Job Duty Differentiators :

- Manages large technical consulting group.

- Significant interaction with senior leadership of Segment Sales, Segment Services Sales, Segment Management, internal Dell services organizations, and vendor partners.

Experience :

- 14+ years experience of directing the delivery of IT Enterprise Consulting and Deployment.

- 8+ years leadership experience.

- Enterprise Deployment: large scale deployment of servers, storage and networking projects| program

- Enterprise Consulting: Workshop, Assessment, Design and Implementation of Public & Private Cloud Solutions, Virtualisation solutions, Microsoft Unified Communication & Collaboration Solution, High Power Computing, Big Data Analytic, Software Define DC. Experience in directing of Data Center Facility consulting and deployment business will be an advantageous.
