Dell's Corporate Strategy group is seeking exceptional leaders and forward-thinkers to help us continue the transformation of the company. We are a small team who works closely with the CEO's office and the Executive Leadership Team (CEO's direct reports), and who collaborates across business units to develop and implement solutions which deliver tangible results.
As a key member of the Corporate Strategy team, you will help drive the strategic planning process and help inform key strategic decisions for critical issues across the company.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and execute analysis of industry and market trends, competitors, growth opportunities, and internal performance to support strategic planning process
For key initiatives required to achieve the Dell Strategic plan (i.e., Dell Agenda items), lead a team to deliver insights, provide actionable/practical recommendations, and drive implementation to accelerate profitable growth
In the role, you will work on highly complex problems; provide insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the Executive Leadership Team; gain exposure to senior-level decision-making; and establish relationships across all areas of the company.
Job/Education Requirements:
10+ years experience, including at least 3+ years of strategy or consulting experience in a leading technology company or consulting firm
Proficiency leading and managing teams
Specific experience in enterprise hardware, services, and / or software
Very strong understanding of business strategies and drivers
Outstanding problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Drive for results and ability to learn on the fly
Self-direction and motivation, and ability to operate independently
Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization
Flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges
MBA or equivalent work experience
Prefer - Exp in leading strategic planning & exp. in enterprise hardware, services or/ and software ( not mandatory )
