Corp Development Consultant - "ISG Strategy Consulting-

- Dell EMC's Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an exceptional leader and forward-thinker to work with us on key strategic initiatives. We are a small team, spread across Round Rock TX, Hopkinton MA and Bangalore, IN, which works closely with Infrastructure Solutions Group Product teams and Sales to develop and implement solutions that deliver tangible results.

This position will be based out of Bangalore.

Representative projects include :

- Working with lines of business to address a strategic product opportunity

- Developing a global or regional growth plan or business case

- Managing cross-functional teams to drive a comprehensive set of tactical actions

- Creating a route-to-market strategy

- Assessing the attractiveness of investment alternatives

- Improving business unit or sales productivity and operating performance

- In the role, you will work, independently or in partnership with the US based teams, on highly complex problems; provide insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the Executive Leadership Team; gain exposure to senior-level decision-making; and establish relationships across all areas of the company

Job/Education Requirements :

- 12+ years of experience, including at least two years of strategy consulting experience at a top-tier management consulting firm OR 4+ years of experience at a large technology company in a strategy role

- Proficiency leading and managing smaller teams (1-2 person) teams

- Project based consultant role - strategy consulting, finance, banking, IT industry preferred

- Very strong understanding of business strategies and drivers

- Outstanding problem solving and quantitative analytical skills

- Ability to structure large, ambiguous business problems, and prioritize issues to address

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Drive for results and ability to learn on the fly

- Self-direction and motivation, and ability to operate independently

- Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization

- Flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges

- Ability and willingness to adapt to the challenges of working in a remote environment, including occasional travel on a need basis

- Experience in enterprise hardware, services, and / or software is an advantage

- Proficiency in using Microsoft tools - Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

- MBA or equivalent work experience
