- Provides analytical and business intelligence support to a business unit, segment or function. Analyzes, interprets, maintains and reports data.
- Serves as the business unit data steward, establishing validation and testing protocols to maintain the integrity of the data. Delivers ad-hoc data and report requests for client group.
- Develops, runs and prepares various statistical analyses and reports based on both internal and external data sources. Utilizes various software packages and tools for collecting, mining, interpreting and reporting data.
- May be responsible for granting and terminating system access to data.
- Analyzes business data, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals.
- Elicits and documents business requirements to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends and insights that improve business performance.
- Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis.
- Proactively analyzes trends, causes and variances.
- Champion process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics and data integration capabilities.
- Maintains databases, cleansing and validating data as needed.
- Develops database logic to extract required information for reporting.

Education :
- 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Understanding of how IT systems process and integrate information.
- Knowledge of general statistical principles (averages, quartiles, standard deviations, etc) and the relevancy of information.
- Proficient with Logical/Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
- General knowledge of database structures and their functions.
- Capable of writing inquiry and summary SQL statements.
- Competent in publishing through Excel, Access, and / or Dell Business Intelligence tools (Hyperion, Statistica, Business Objects, etc. Undergraduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 0-2 years relevant experience. BE / B Tech / Management Program / Supply Chain Analytics
