Dell - Business Intelligence Advisor - Financial Services Domain

- Analyzes business data, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals Elicits and documents business requirements to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends and insights that improve business performance

- Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis

- Proactively analyzes trends, causes and variances Champion process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics and data integration capabilities Maintains databases, cleansing and validating data as needed

- Develops database logic to extract required information for reporting Creates and distributes both routine and complex ad-hoc reports

RESPONSIBILITIES -

- Formulates conclusions and provides summary analysis and interpretation for leadership Consults with business to identify new reports or data needs to support business decisions

- Simplifies and standardizes reports at regular intervals

- Defines and determines metrics definitions from a global perspective Designs, drives and implements reporting to support the business Collaborates with other groups Provides feedback to help improve processes Monitors industry trends

Job Description -

- Lead online analytics for Dell Financial Services in PAG

- Develop/enhance reporting solutions tracking online customer behaviour - pre and post purchase, to improve financing KPIs

- Web analytics for site optimization, test and target, opportunity sizing, cost-benefit, promotion postmortems

- Partner with online marketing leader to influence decision making with sound analytics

- Identify opportunities for stakeholders to make significant business impact (pen rate improvements) through projects

- Collaborate extensively with Dell marketing and DCS analytics organizations to align on definitions and leverage best practices

- Coach/Mentor coach junior colleagues

- At least 5+ years experience in web analytics, e-commerce industry

- Proficiency in tools like Sitecatalyst, Insight, Discover

- Hands on experience in SQL

- Excellent stakeholder management skills

- Strong communication and presentation skills
