Delivery Manager
Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages overall personnel, performance and discipline in the assigned area
- Evaluation and management of operational practices and procedures
- Provide direction to staff; ensure resolution of problems; sets priorities
- Provide expertise and leadership in assigned functional area
- Manage all client interaction and client communication. Should front-end the relationship with the client and PE (Account Management Team)
- Manage relationship with internal stakeholders and functions
- Responsible for attrition management, capacity planning and arranging for backfills on a timely basis
- Provide advice and assistance to senior management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation/modifications to existing operations, systems and procedures
- Establish work loads and provide support in decision making
- Responsible for front ending and controlling audit requirements and maintain a risk managed operations
- Key stakeholder to support and drive global initiatives for the account and sign off/provide inputs to global teams on key aspects of the account
- Drive engagement, career-pathing and skill enhancement for employees in span
- Actively participate and lead global projects and initiatives aimed at creating value for IBM and its customers
- Deliver to SLAs and SLOs to contractual terms
- Aid in creating new avenues of revenue growth and achieve financial performance of account to budget
- Support PE in developing and sustaining client relationships
Essential Skills :
- Minimum of 8 Years of experience and 2 year of managerial experience.
- Experience of handling an international process is must.
- Ability to make quick, reliable decisions
- International Client Interaction
- Ability to supervise and manage a team of frontline supervisors (Ops Manager/TL/DM/Lead etc.).
- Strong knowledge of management principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Develops comprehensive planning and project management
- Understanding of key financial concepts (Revenue Enhancement, Cost Take Out, Margin Expansion, P&L Management etc.)
- Ability to Multitask and drive multiple initiatives
Desirable requirements:
- Experience handling back office Life insurance process.
- Has worked as a DPE or back up to DPE.
- Experience on transitions
