We have an opportunity for a Delivery Manager- Campaign Deliverability for one of our client.

Job Description :

- The Delivery Manager would be responsible for leading a team of Deliverability consultants for ensuring quality services delivery in consulting engagements.

- Liaise directly with clients directly to ensure the professional services delivery exceeds their expectations and clients are successful.

- Hire and develop a team of best in class consultants and manage utilization goals to ensure performance against plan. Drive professional services process improvement and efficiency while establishing high standards for engagement quality and delivery.

Responsibilities :

People Management :

- Recruit, manage, mentor and professionally develop a team of consultants

- Manage utilization goals to ensure performance against plan

- Comfortable and willing to get hands-on involved on critical strategic client engagements and escalations

- Provide support and guidance to the team of consultants on technical, delivery and operational issues

- Conduct regular 1-on-1 sessions with team members and provide relevant feedback and updates to team members and upper management

- Perform tactical team management activities as required including timesheet approval, coordination of team meetings, completion of HR related tasks and planning of team events

- Develop solid relationships with key colleagues in all functional areas across the organization

- Review and approve project proposals (scope, level of effort estimates and schedules)

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction. This includes but is not limited to quarterly business reviews and client visits

- Serve as point of contact for client escalations

- Report client engagement status and other relevant business metrics to upper management on a regular basis

- Represent Consulting team at conferences, industry events and trade shows. Seek out speaking engagements to promote and brand professional services

- Perform end of quarter reconciliation activities as required

- Contribute to the development of strategic goals and planning of the Consulting organization

- Execute annual performance review processes for team members to promote consultant job satisfaction and professional growth

- Consistently maintain team morale, especially in times of change

Responsibilities :

Deliverability Domain :

- Comfortable and willing to get hands-on involved on critical strategic clients on the below activities (which is the role description for the consultants)

- Work with Deliverability Consulting clients to promote email best practices for optimal deliverability

- Provide guidance during new client onboarding & IP ramp-up process

- Alert strategic clients to blocks and recommendations for corrective action

- Understand and apply industry policies and procedures related to email deliverability issues

- Create and present client quarterly reviews and scorecards

- Work to ensure that bounces and spam complaints for clients are optimized for maximum email delivery

- Oversee detailed investigations and communicate with clients regarding deliverability issues

- Expected work-split for a typical consultant is: 75% deliverability strategy & client interaction/25% troubleshooting & operational support

Requirements :

- Strong leadership skills including the ability to develop, influence and motivate a team to maximize results

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact and communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally

- Ability to lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast paced, changing environment

- Strong client service orientation; demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with client stakeholders

- Ability to translate client/business requirements into business solutions and successfully position with clients

- Demonstrated proficiency in team management and consulting delivery including financial management

- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills

- Commitment to company values and business objectives

Deliverability Domain/Technology Requirements :

- Thorough understanding of email technologies including MTAs, SMTP, DNS, and feedback loops

- Solid comprehension of email best practices, reputation management, and spam filtering technologies

- At least 7 years in an email deliverability capacity

- Outstanding attention to detail and high personal quality expectations

- Strong presentation, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills

Essential :

- Required Technical Skill: Email Authentication (DKIM, SPF, DMARC), HTML / CSS and web technologies, Network skills including: Certificates, DNS, TCP/IP, NAT'ing, security and firewalls

- Desirable Technical Skill: RDBMS & SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server or Oracle)

- Desirable Technical Skill: Scripting/Programming (JavaScript or other)
