Job Description - The position is aligned with the technology practice of the Strategy Research & Consulting division. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the strategy team of our client, a global technology behemoth, and assist them in understanding niche technology markets and keeping a track of key transactions and players' activities.

Description
- Track and create company profiles covering, operating segments, management, quarterly earnings, financial summary, cross-holding structure, annotated stock charts, latest news/ key events, M&As, etc.
- Track technology markets and create weekly newsletters for the consumption of senior personnel in the client's team. These will cover a range of technology markets, players' moves, and M&As across key players and geographies
- Manage a small team of analysts - quality check team's work, guide, and mentor analysts
- Work with seniors, as required, to expand the technology practice within the strategic research team
- Organize and execute other assigned business projects
- 5-9 years of experience in strategy research and analysis, preferably in the TMT domain
- At least 1-2 years of experience in managing a team, and 3 years of directly communicating with clients. Experience in managing client communications solo will be considered an added advantage
- Experience in scoping and executing projects independently
- Experienced in handling different sources for secondary research (company websites, SEC filings, research reports, news articles, statistics, and ministry/ industry/ association websites, etc.), as well as, primary research involving discussions with industry players/ stakeholders. Prior experience in handling databases, e.g., Factset, CapIQ, Bloomberg, etc. will be considered an advantage
- Strong sectoral knowledge in one or more of these fields is preferred: Fintech, Mobility, OTT services, Digital health, Software & Services, Semiconductors, Datacenters, and other technology fields
- Must possess strong writing skills - the selected candidate would need to draft, as well as, review newsletter content for senior staffers at client organizations
- Excellent at using MS PowerPoint; command over MS Excel to process varied data sets in spreadsheets (Pivots, charting, etc.) is highly desirable
- Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills. Adept at synthesizing information to generate insights
