Job Description:
The Manager – Special Projects will be an integral part of the India Controllership Leadership structure and will be primarily responsible for driving pan-India Controllership projects. The vision is for this individual to promote the One-Controllership vision in India, and will include representing the Controllership team on market-level initiatives and most importantly serving as brand ambassador and bringing the various groups together as part of One-Controllership. This is a position for someone who wants to be involved in strategic, cross-functional and cross-dimensional work, as well as drive long-term results for the business and will involve interactions with several senior leaders across firm. The position requires flexibility and ability to effectively function in a dynamic environment, with the ability to address ad-hoc requests that arise due to developing business needs while managing competing priorities and deliverables within tight deadlines. Successful candidates will be results-driven, flexible and adaptable to change as well as demonstrate ability to operate in a complex, matrixed environment.
Key responsibilities include - but are not limited to:
- Develop, lead, implement and measure a broad range of active strategic initiatives / projects across the India Controllership team.
- Provide insights and thought leadership in support of driving cultural alignment and cohesion, training and development, talent management, employee recognition and employee engagement events.
- Transform ideas, synthesize strategic information and concepts into clear and concise presentations.
- To provide general support to the VP, TRSCo and AEII Controller in project coordination and key project follow-up items.
- Interact effectively with the global leadership team, including developing strong relationships across customers and support groups to manage requests from senior management and ensure that key deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
This individual will be highly energetic, organized and a self-starter with a strong capacity to multi-task across multiple disciplines, priorities and deadlines. Specifically, the Manager – Special Projects must have:
- Strong problem solving, project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to independently and proactively take initiative without requiring detailed instructions
- Proven project management and organizational skills (ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight deadlines) High quality analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Strong and strategic thought leadership to identify team needs and how to solve for them in efficient and innovative ways
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across a cross-functional team and influence senior leaders
- Strong proficiency with preparing clear and concise presentations.
