Delivery Lead - Data Strategy & Governance

The GCS Analytics COE is part of the Business Solutions & Analytics (BS&A) team and acts as the analytical engine that powers profitable business growth through consultative and innovative solutions across GCS in partnership with various teams in the organization. BS&A Data Strategy & Governance team is looking for a seasoned and high performing Manager, Data Strategy and Governance; to accelerate efforts and be a major part of company’s data-centric culture. With your strong people management experience and in depth knowledge of various BI tools, you will be a leading a highly talented and diverse Business intelligence team for developing innovative, competitive data solutions and providing end to end platform support. We're looking for a hands-on leader who has strong data management experience and project management skills. She/he will be responsible for helping internal partners/stakeholders make informed strategic and operational decisions and ensure infrastructure uptime. In addition, the Manager will provide leadership and guidance to Enterprise wide analytics initiatives and opportunities. This role currently has 9 direct reports in Report Development, Data Governance & Quality and Platform support

Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively, and efficiently with all internal and external partners and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and prioritization of goals and resources across organizational initiatives

2. Manage a team of technical and analytical resources in the delivery of data technology solutions at an Enterprise level

3. Partner with the business leadership teams, providing the business analytic support to help drive decisions that are critical to the ongoing growth of the business.

4. Be a thought-leader. Proactively drive and influence the decision-making processes by delivering key insights and outcomes within the business leadership teams.

5. Responsible for managing all aspects of the Business Intelligence COE including a. Manage the user help desk support for the platform though a rigorous customer centric operating model b. Support data governance and data quality c. Provide technical guidance for new report creation in Sage infrastructure leveraging micro strategy and SAS d. Stabilize, standardize and implement the operating model

6. Responsible for team administrative activities a. Identify resources required, assign individual responsibilities and evaluate impact on future resource requirements b. Manage external vendors and consultants to enable effective and efficient project execution c. Ensure timely communication and management of all system issues d. Measure, track and meet SLA metrics (schedule, accuracy) e. Active in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and coaching a team whose combined skill set meets the current and future needs of the organization

7. Ensure compliance to IT policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources.

Qualifications:

7+ years experience in project management, including 3+ years managerial experience.

Track record of attracting top talents, developing a successful business intelligence reporting & analytics team, and working with cross functional teams to launch various solutions
