Delivery Head - Avionics

Designation : Delivery Head - Avionics

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Flawless delivery of Avionics engagements and providing superior customer experience.

- Manage all aspects of Delivery Operations including Associate Engagement, Profitability, Utilization, Employee Pyramid, Leadership development.

- Work closely with Aerospace strategy team to create a differentiated strategy for Company in the Avionics space that will make Company the global market leader in the next 3-5 years.

- Competency Building and Enhancement in Avionics to achieve the strategic goals - across software platforms, prototyping & testing, new technologies etc.

- Provide Business Development support for new and existing customers (opportunity responses and proactive proposals). Collaborate with Company Systems and Solutions to identify opportunities for providing design led manufacturing solutions to existing as well as new customers (realizing the S3 strategy)

The role will be based out of India (Bangalore or Hyderabad).

The role involves travel internationally (3-4 in a year) and within India (once or twice a month).

Required Candidate Profile :

- Demonstrable competence in Operational Excellence, metrics based management and continuous improvement.

- Strong background in Avionics and in-depth knowledge of certification standards for building hardware and software in Avionics - DO 160, DO 178, DO 254 etc.

- Exposure to Strategy Development accompanied by demonstrable ability to understand future trends and build new competencies.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills; adept in collaborating across geographies & functional lines and in promoting collaboration within the team.

- 15+ years of working with and managing large teams (300+) globally especially, US and Europe.

- Experience in working with both Professional Services as well as Manufacturing organizations preferred.

- Active involvement with Electronics/Avionics related thought leadership forums preferred

Qualification : Bachelors or Masters in Electronics or related Engineering disciplines.
