Job Summary:.
The Director - Oracle, will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle-related projects and services.
This role involves managing a team of Oracle professionals, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time,.
within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:.
Leadership and Management:.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Oracle professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
Strategy and Planning:.
- Develop and execute the Oracle strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize Oracle projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Technical Expertise:.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Oracle solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Oracle configuration and customization.
- Stay updated on Oracle platform updates and industry trends.
Project Management:.
- Manage development timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Track and report on project progress and key performance indicators.
Stakeholder Engagement:.
- Work closely with business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Quality Assurance:.
- Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
Service Delivery:.
- Oversee the delivery of Oracle support, maintenance, and enhancement services.
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues and requests.
- Implement and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously improve managed services processes and methodologies.
- Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Overall 15+ years of experience, 10+ years of experience in Oracle deployments (Functional/technical/project management).
- At least one greenfield deployment experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and cloud solutionsSCM and Finance modules preferred, multi-module experience strongly desired.
- Proficiency in Oracle databases, applications, and middleware.
