Job Description:

- Delivery Director GIS/Map Operation will be directly responsible for the execution of the assigned projects meeting Quality, Metric, and Delivery targets within navigation mapping area.

- The successful candidate should have strong GIS/Geospatial domain knowledge, navigation mapping and excellent communication skills.

- Must possess strong collaboration skills and should work independently with functional teams within the organization and client.

- Line manage and develop a team of Professional Development Experts, the Leadership and Management delivery team in our business

- Manage the operational relationship for existing major client accounts, including liaison with the Sales Lead on those accounts.

- Direct responsibility for the execution of the project as per defined KPI targets on metric, delivery and quality and direct authority over the project(s) assigned, alignment of Resource Response Plan with forecasted plan on a weekly/monthly level, direct responsibility for Performance and Quality Improvement Projects and continuous development within the assigned project(s)/Account(s)

Designation: Senior Director/Director Total Experience At least 15 years of relevant experience in operations & project management in GIS/Geospatial technology domain.

Educational qualification: Graduate in Geoinformatics /Geo Sciences/ Engineering with preferred certification(s) in PMI, Prince2 or equivalent is a plus.

Specialization in GIS related software's ESRI, MapInfo & Intergraph packages Excellent understanding of Map related (geometry features - Navigation domain) processes

Additional Qualification:

- Must have experience in leading large scale and complex projects within mapping area/domain.

- Experience in project planning, resource management, risk assessments, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes.

- Demonstrated operation management skills as well as a good understanding of quality processes, i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma. Exemplary communication skills and fluent English.

Role and responsibility:

- Manage medium to large scale Mapping projects start to end, through hands on supervision of a large team to deliver projects on time and with acceptable quality.

- Responsible for complete engagements operations, revenue, business improvement and customer relationship

- Review the operations regularly and update to senior management on business impact if any.

- Responsible for yearly business charter and resource plan in line with client requirement.

- Single point contact for any issues related to delivery/operations.

- Highest level escalation point in case of any Quality /Delivery within the projects/processes.

- Review the engagement health monthly and take corrective actions for improvements.

- Provide necessary support to the team on delivery/operation improvements.

- Part of Organization development plan and Foresight.

- Provide the monthly updates to client/senior management of project health and provide action items
