Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution across digital platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of digital trends, social media analytics, and content creation to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company objectives/themes.
- Responsible for Delhivery's Online Brand Reputation Management
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in digital and social media marketing.
Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation of engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Ensure content is compelling, relevant, and optimized for each platform and audience.
Community Engagement:
- Foster community engagement through active participation in conversations and monitoring of user interactions.
- Develop strategies to grow and nurture our online community.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor and evaluate social media performance and ROI.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand managers, HR, Ops, CS and Technology, to align social media strategies with overall marketing initiatives.
- Team Hiring and Mentoring
Execution:
- Map and maintain a quarterly calendar and own on-time quality execution/posting
- Onboard an effective agency to execute a quarterly social calendar
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing and social media management, ideally in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
