Delhivery - Director - Corporate Development & Investments

The Director, Corporate Development & Investments, will be responsible for M&A, Investments and other strategic initiatives to drive inorganic growth for Delhivery. The person will lead a team of analysts and report into the CFO org.

Responsibilities

- Develop a detailed understanding of Delhivery's business portfolio and identify areas of inorganic growth

- Regularly interact with market participants including bankers, consultants, advisors and investors to keep abreast of available opportunities in the sectors of interest

- Research potential investment targets, including interactions with the management and investors of target companies

- Prepare detailed financial model, senior management datapacks and board materials for identified opportunities

- Run the transaction process end-to-end, including appointment of advisors, coordination of diligence, drafting and negotiation of documents and closing

- Track business performance of the investment portfolio and share regular reports with senior management of Delhivery

- Maintain a detailed database of opportunities evaluated

- Keep track of inorganic activities in sectors of interest for Delhivery and provide regular updates to the senior management

Skills

- Ability to analyse industry landscape strategically and identify gaps and opportunities

- Advanced financial modeling skills

- Knowledge of M&A processes and applicable regulations

- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) skills

- Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience of handling M&A transaction documents, market precedents and a working knowledge of applicable legal aspects

- Working knowledge of transaction structure and tax/legal implications

Experience And Qualifications

- MBA Finance / CA

- 5+ years experience at an VC/PE fund, investment bank or equivalent managing multiple deals each year
