Data Science Manager

The Sr. Data Science Manager leads the team of Data Scientists at DP. The major responsibilities include:

1. Ownership of the design and delivery of data science components of solutions

2. Data Science team management from productivity enhancement to shaping their careers

3. Data Science Capability Development from implementing industry best-practices including MLOps, coding standards, code re-usability etc.

An ideal candidate will be/have :

1. Led teams of data scientists in designing, developing, and delivering machine learning projects

2. Worked on a variety of Data Science projects, such as Pricing Analytics, Market Mix Modeling, Demand Forecasting, clustering etc.

3. Have experience of working on cloud platforms such AWS, Azure, GCP etc.

4. Experience of FMCG and Retail domain specially in Commercial, Marketing and Supply chain will be a plus.

5. Strong grasp of Statistical, Econometric (including Time Series), ML modeling, and their applications in business

6. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Data Models and Architectures

7. Experience working with large data sets and tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc. and large data streaming technologies like Spark, etc. is a plus

8. A team player who can deliver under pressure
