The Manager - Financial Control will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including overseeing day-to-day transactions, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, ensure strict adherence to internal controls, improve existing controls, control expenses in line with the budgets and prepare periodic financial reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and management accounting practices

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the operations of the finance department, including the improving the design of the organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, and track actuals with the budget.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.

- Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit.

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent).

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar role or in audit with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Strong understanding of IndAs, and experience with accounting and financial procedures.

- Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the monthend/year-end close process.

- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

- Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.

- High level of proficiency with MS Excel

- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
