Decision Point - Analytics Consultant - IIT/NIT/BITS

The position requires the individual to bring together data science knowledge and business understanding to solve real world business problems and work in a collaborative team environment. Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills in English is important. Candidate should be research oriented and passionate to learn new technologies and adapt. The incumbent for the position is expected to deliver but not limited to on following responsibilities

- Responsible for end to end delivery of long as well as ad-hoc projects

- Required to be hands-on project delivery and delegate work streams to peers and analysts

- Expected to translate business briefs into mathematical models/concepts for junior team members and visualize deliverable formats

- Ensure error free deliverables by implementing quality check steps, ensure timely delivery and take interim corrective measures for smooth execution of the project

- Develop analytical modules/techniques relevant to business briefs

- Managing the project in Gannt Chart

- Responsible for business development which would go into cred deck

- Develop business relevant actionable insights and coherent presentations as project deliverables

- Support new business development team with used cases, new analytical techniques and actively participate in organizational initiatives

- Lead brain storming sessions by using leads as sounding board and guide analysts on analytics plan

- Develop in depth knowledge in FMCG sector and drive innovations for new analytical solutions

- Develop career plan for team members and participate in quarter and annual appraisals

An ideal candidate will be/have:

- More than 3 yrs. of Experience in any of the leading analytics firms

- Graduated from Ivy league (IIT, NIT, BITS etc.)

- Have firsthand knowledge of any of the programming languages - R or Python. Also, should be good with Excel

- Have demonstrable experience of leading the projects and team

- Have demonstrable experience of working on advanced analytics project

- Having experience of predictive analytics (Machine learning/AI) is a plus

- Having recommendation from current organization/ manager is a plus

- Experience of working big data platforms is a plus
