Job Purpose
- This role is combination of account management (40%) & program management (60%)
- This role will functionally report into the Delivery Head and will be responsible for account's profitability, new revenue generation from the account, customer satisfaction & team management.
- Primary Customer for this role will be client and Primary Suppliers will be Project Manager and AMS (Application Management Services) Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management - 40%
- Maintain account relationship management
- Identify & convert revenue opportunities.
- Analyze customer orders, set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.
- Perform customer negotiations for delivery rates.
- Serve as primary contact for customer concerns and escalations related to the delivery of services.
Delivery Management - 60%
- Responsible for the delivery of new projects by - requirement gathering, project planning, project review & project delivery.
- Ensure smooth functions of all the projects with the help of AMS (application management services) like bug fixing, performance management, enhancements & monitoring.
- Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentations.
- Responsible for managing client satisfaction, quality management, team monitoring.
Team Management :
- Line management responsibility for Program Managers (Common AMS) and Project Managers (Project Team)
- Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
- Oversee daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.

Key Skills :
Qualification & Experience
- Any Post Graduate or B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in IT
- 12-16 years of relevant experience in project delivery & account management
Technical
- Strong understanding of business requirements and delivery management.
- Understands fundamentals of iterative development, software development processes and procedures.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools particularly Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- the Familiar with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices.
- Had the background of software development preferably in Java J2EE or Oracle PlSql or Mobility technologies.-
- Candidates with experience in the consulting domain will be preferred.
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets.
- Formal project management qualifications desirable.
Personal
- Ability to manage the competing demands of multiple, simultaneous projects.
- Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies.
- Must possess very good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team.
- Must be able to make the tough calls, be a voice of reason and authority and be approachable by the team members when needed.
