Decimal Point Analytics - Senior ESG Product Specialist

Purpose of this role: The Senior ESG Product Specialist will lead the development of our new offering in the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) sector. You will identify new ESG Product business development opportunities and ensure that the necessary level of competence is in place to deliver the services.

Role and Responsibility:

1. Leading the ESG Product Business includes Product Conception and Validation, Product Build, and Product Revenue specifically aimed at asset managers including Private Equity, Hedge funds, and long-only asset managers.

2. Interact with customers and market participants, understanding the market opportunity, competitive environment, and customer needs. Identifying a compelling value proposition and considering how best to deliver this.

3. Provide guidance to internal teams on sustainability programs, risks, and opportunities including ESG due diligence.

4. Analysis of emerging trends/ themes in the industry and preparation of research reports.

5. Act as the ESG product subject-matter expert and be responsible for producing specialist content for presentations, RFP database, client response subject-matter expert rating, and the firm's annual sustainability report.

6. Being the central point of contact for ESG matters pertaining to Multi-Asset and Fixed Income strategies.

7. Create a range of ESG-related materials (e.g., market research, white papers, presentations) through collaboration with DPA internal teams and Client teams.

8. Stay up to date with ESG market and regulatory trends, in turn applying to competitive analysis and product innovation.

9. Engagement with regulatory updates to guide our customers on compliance as per business needs. 10. Act as a leader for ESG strategy across fixed-income and multi-asset products, working with the ESG, client, marketing, and operation teams.

Skills and Education:

1. MBA (finance) or a degree in a sustainability-related science field, including environmental economics / CFA Charter holder/CFA ESG Certification

2. 5-10 years of experience in the sustainability / ESG domain

3. Excellent communication and presentation skills

4. Comfortable with handling the full product lifecycle with a clear revenue/commercial focus while partnering with Technology teams to deliver Product changes.

5. Ability to assimilate and integrate data from diverse sources.

6. Excellent communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills. Extremely important to be able to build product notes, and presentations to highlight product propositions.

7. Self-motivated and able to work independently without detailed supervision.

8. Commitment to work towards deadlines.

9. Very good command of Microsoft Office applications (including Excel)
