Role: Assistant Manager/Manager/ Senior Manager - Sales

Reporting to: Regional Sales Head

Location: Bangalore

Education: Any Graduate or Post Graduate

Experience: 6+yrs

Primary prerequisites:

- Experience in sales within media - TV, print, radio.

- Good Knowledge of local market and connects within the media industry.

- Aggressive go getter and willing to travel extensively.

- Outdoor advertising and Product launch.

- Sales strategy and Revenue generation

- To maximize ad revenue and achieve monthly/yearly sales targets

- To develop new clients /potential advertisers for both our newspapers Deccan Herald + Prajavani

- To interact with clients/advertising agencies for business generation and develop PR on a daily basis.

- To make daily sales calls to clients/ad agencies and maintain daily call reports for efficient follow up.

- To do extensive research on client spending pattern/market share viz a competition & have in depth understanding of their market/objectives and challenges.

- To improve market share & yield of existing clients.

- To offer customized solutions to clients

Additional skills:

Business tie ups and Market research

Fluency in local language and English
