TEAM BACKGROUND :


You will be a part of the digital commerce team at Decathlon, with a specific focus on


- Campaign Planning including callouts


- Traffic planning at a category and channel level


- Traffic shaping & increase PPVs


- Conversion


- Visual Merchandising across channels


- Optimising visibility to meet month GMV targets


- Creating & maintaining new properties across channels


- Site Experience & Analytics


- Category experience


- NPS


Office Location : Decathlon Anubhava, Bangalore


Work policy : 1 Day WFH per week as per requirement


Total Experience : 4-7 years


Job Description :


The Digital Sales Side Manager will be responsible for driving both the visual presentation and sellout performance across all e-commerce platforms. This hybrid role combines creative merchandising with a strong sales focus, ensuring that the online product presentation is optimized to boost visibility, engagement, and ultimately, sales. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in creating compelling online visual experiences with a deep understanding of e-commerce sales dynamics and sellout strategies to drive revenue growth & excellent customer experience.


Responsibilities :


Strategy


- Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales growth, enhance customer experience, and improve conversion rates. Stay updated on ecommerce industry trends, and customer preferences to recommend innovative strategies and initiatives.

Project and Performance Management


- Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Maximisation of PPVs

- Reduction of site bounce

- Increase customer engagement across platforms

People


- Team Recruitment and Management

- Teammate Skills and Career Development


Stakeholder Management / Collaborations

- Proactive business planning and owning the category online business case from traffic perspective at a category and channel level

- Collaborate with Marketing Team, Program Teams & Digital Category Manager to plan and implement effective online marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), and SEM detailing.

- Work with Program and Product teams to develop best in class features to provide great onsite experience for customers across channels


Qualifications :


- Master's degree is preferred

- Demonstrated expertise in category management, sales side management preferably in the ecommerce sector

- Proficient analytical skills, with a strong ability in data analysis and market research


- Good collaboration skills

- Knowledge of analytical tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, etc


- Knowledge of visualization tools like PowerBI & Tableau
