Dean - Student Affairs - College

Responsibilities of the Dean- Student Affairs are:

- Monitor day-to-day essential support required for academic and co-curricular activities of students

- Arrange for special care for the weaker and needy sections of students

- Prepare plan and execute programmes for holistic development of the students

- Nominate student representatives to various bodies of the University in consultation

- Facilitate conduct of elections to the UoH Students' Union

- Co-ordinate with the Office of the Chief Warden in the smooth functioning of the hostels

- Advise Students' Union as and when required

- Enable and facilitate conduct of sports and cultural events on the campus

- Co-ordinate with the Director of Sports, Cultural Officer etcetera for all matters related to students' Welfare

- Depute students to participate events/programmes outside the University

- Keep in touch with the guardians as and when required.

Must Haves:

- At least 15 years of experience across the entire continuum of student life cycle.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix model across multiple stakeholders - students, faculty, staff, external influencers, and governing leadership

- Proven capability in helping organizations create exceptional brands and cultures Ability to lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team

- For Corporate candidates - demonstrated the ability to manage large operations and scale-up businesses.

- The candidate must be a post-graduate.

- The candidate must be able to join immediately.
