- The applicants should have outstanding academic credentials throughout including a Ph.D Degree from a reputed institution.

- Provide academic leadership to the faculty and work with them to conceptualize the directions of the faculty and institute processes for continuous improvement

- Oversee the functioning of the faculty, mentor and support faculty members, and attract suitable persons to teach at the faculty.

- Lead the process of curriculum and pedagogy review at the faculty.

- Enrich interaction and professional experience of faculty members

- Network with various institutions within the country and abroad.

- Prepare the budget of the faculty in consultation with program chairs/coordinators and other stakeholders of the faculty.

- Ensure that the expenses comply with the estimates approved by the university.

- Nurture space for diverse and critical points of view to coexist in harmony at the faculty.
