Dean - Computer Science & Engineering College

- Assisting in build a vision for the Computer Science & Engineering to define medium and long term academic and research direction and priorities.

- Support in providing Leadership to the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the School of Computer Science and Engineering

- Enable environment where students learn, thrive and seek to become leaders and innovators of the society.

- Assist and ensure the development of high-quality teaching, learning, and research programs that can deliver practical benefits locally and nationally

- Support in collaborating in the Interdisciplinary area and with other members of leadership to develop synergies between Education, Research, and service priorities across the University.

3. Key Accountability :

Strategic :

- Assist in develop and implement research and academic strategies and agenda in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure Faculty of Science of MIT WPU is positioned to develop a global reputation for both research and academic excellence and impact

- Support in creating the strategy for developing, nurturing, and maximising internal and external partnerships and relationships

- Build Strategy of the School to enhance Ranking & Accreditations of the School as per the long term vision of MIT WPU

Research & Development :

- Build ecosystem to enhance research and consultation for faculty

- Mentor School leaders and Faculty to build capability around Research Development.

- Promote the ethical conduct of research and ensure compliance with relevant international, national, and local regulations, as well as Institute's policies

Financial and Budget :

- Help in proposing grant and financial strategies to support and benefit research at different schools of the Faculty

- Ensure that financial and budgetary policies, systems, and process are seamless and easy to understand; promote faculty wide capacity building for new grant programmes.

- Support the dissemination and commercialization of discoveries; and assure legal compliance with proper and ethical research practices.
