Role And Responsibilities -
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Short term liquidity and long-term cash flow management
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Engages the Board, Strategic Partners and appropriate committees around financial issues, trends and changes in the operating model.
- Validate variances and trends; contribute on new business opportunities, cost reduction efforts
- Develop, implement and maintain a system for measuring the financial and operating performance of the company, each department and the deviation from budgets, including sales, revenues and project, gross and net profit margins
- Produce quarterly rolling budgets for review by Company management and the Board that reflect the impact of business and financial updates of the last quarter.
- Ensures all secretarial records are in order and do necessary filings to bridge gaps during Due Diligence exercise with external agencies (Big 4) while raising funds.
Oversees the development of tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Strategic Partners and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
Qualification and Desired Skills:
- Minimum 10 - 15 years experience preferably from Construction/Interior design/ furniture and fixtures
- Essentially CA/CFA or ICWA
- Experience in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
- Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation
