Job Description - Deputy Chief Financial Officer
Position Requirements :
- Bachelor / Master's Degree in relevant domain
- CPA with minimum of 10 years- experience in leading finance roles. 15+ years total accounting or finance experience
- Hands On- ERP Systems Experience
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence - ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent domain knowledge with analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues.
Preferred:
- Prior experience and expertise of raising funds, IPO- s, M & A's and managing relationships in BFSI segment
Remuneration: 30 to 35 Lacs per Annum
Strategy, Planning and Management :
- Act as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to the senior executive leadership team.
- Assess and evaluate the financial performance of an organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts. Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of the organization.
- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion.
- Select and engage consultants, auditors and investors.
- Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
Treasury :
- Manages day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization.
- Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management.
- Allocates cash balances, maintains investment records and prepares expense and earning forecasts.
- Determines the procurement of funds and monitors investments and collections. Requires a bachelor's degree.
Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting :
- Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and weekly cash flow by division.
- Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
- Participate in weekly conference calls with Lenders, Vendors and Executive Leadership Team.
Merger and Acquisitions:
Mandatory :
- Organize, plan and execute various M&A's
- Develop and review various finance and operational processes for all acquisitions and mergers.
- Monitor and implement post-merger integration, synergy and define appropriate scope and objectives for same.
- Perform work on Enterprise Resource Planning system and other business intelligence tools.
