20% orientation in understanding the nuances of manufacturing, quality and regulatory aspects related to pharma / neutra industry.
20% orientation to the aspects of supply chain, purchase and distribution.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Develop an overall Vision and Growth strategy (over next 3-5 years) for the company both in the domestic and overseas market that leads to the creation of shareholder value.
- Define and review rolling business plans to ensure plans are integrated and meet company objectives
2. Responsibilities to the Board
- Report to the CMD as well as the Board of Directors.
- Develop an open and communicative relationship with the Board providing updates on Company strategy, performance, management direction and decisions.
3. Drive business performance
- Lead the development, monitoring and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial budget that support the Company's long-term Strategic Plan.
- Work closely with all functions dedicated to developing, manufacturing and selling world-class products, develop new customers and channels to market and manage existing customer and channel partner relationships, develop strategic partnerships and ensure shareholder value is delivered.
- Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
- Monitor and manage day-to-day business of the Company by institutionalizing systems / processes, internal controls and performance metrics that will ensure the achievement of the Company's financial and operating goals and objectives.
- Ensure smooth management of existing customer and vendor relationships
4. Business development
- Develop and maintain high-level customer & partner relationships, ensuring coordinated action and facilitating customer issue resolution
- Devise processes to be updated about market needs, develop mechanisms to gather customer feedback
5. Process control
- Monitor and review the operations in a very systematic manner to improve operations, bring efficiencies, reduce costs, shorter sales cycles, more business per customer (increased sale in existing products along with product addition) as well as from new customers and drive systems and processes to derive operational efficiency
6. Organizational culture /Change management
- Drive change management from a family run set-up to a professional organization with empowered personnel.
- Inculcate and nurture a positive and ethical corporate culture that promotes high performance, innovation, result orientation and accountability.
- Foster a work environment that is conducive to attracting, retaining and motivating top-quality employees at all levels across the organization.
