Role: Brand Management

Location: Bangalore, HSR Layout

Job Description/Purpose of Role:

- Manage the category P&L, Brand equity of the category for the DealShare brands Business Unit.

What is DealShare brands?

DealShare brands is the FMCG arm of DealShare that was launched in April 2022. DealShare wants to create a powerhouse consumer goods organization that can dominate every category it is present in. We endeavour to provide every consumer in India with goods that are highly affordable and the best quality that she/he can get at that price. DealShare brands will be available on both the DealShare platform and the wider retail market.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Growth - Own and drive category P&L. The role is required to work on deliver on daily sale, pricing and profitability numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business. Meeting these milestones is critical to create success.

2. Own Brand Equity on digital and non-digital platforms.

3. NPD: Create and execute the NPD funnel working closely with the key stakeholders.

4. GTM: Design and Drive the go to marketing mix.

5. Brand Activation: Digital Marketing is the most important activation tool. End to end brand management initiatives including BTL activation, Digital Marketing and ATL communication.

6. Develop a category and consumer understanding practice within the BU- Identify insights that can deliver the above-mentioned growth.

7. Create Category Briefs for cross functional teams and creative agencies to deliver on the above-mentioned tasks-

The Successful Applicant:

1. Should have brand management experience of FMCG mass market brands including P&L management and Brand Equity Management.

2. Should understand NPD process and have exposure to the same.

3. Should have experience in Marketing Communications - ATL & BTL

4. Should be process led and have data driven problem-solving skills

5. Should be comfortable with solving business problems in sometimes an ambiguous state and with multiple data streams.

6. Should be willing and capable of working closely and coordinate with the internal and external teams to create success. She/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment.

7. Start-up Cultural Fit - willingness to learn, to innovate, to take initiative, to think out of the box, hustle, ability to execute

8. Nice to Have: Digital Marketing and Shopper Marketing experience
