Summary of Role
The main responsibility of a Business Development Officer is to develop and perform all sales activities surrounding the company's model. Through a consultative approach to client management and sales, you will understand your clients business in order to construct a mutually beneficial offer for our subscribers. In turn this will increase the partner's customer base and generate upsell opportunities. You will become a vital part of your clients marketing and business plans.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Liaising with local businesses on negotiable offers for our subscribers
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the deal - from identifying leads, face to face contact, presentation of the company and closing of deals
- Ensuring that leads are continually generated and existing contacts and business are routinely maintained
- Organize meetings with prospective businesses
- Maintaining relationships with established clients
- Generate revenue to help meet daily, weekly sales targets-
Required skills:
- Minimum of 3 plus years sales experience (Preferably in related field)
- Proven sales track record
- High standard of communication and presentation skills
- Ability to apply an intelligent sales pitch
- Basic ability to figure out mathematical equations quickly and efficiently
- Self-motivation, flexibility and ability to sell at all decision-making levels
- Proactive
- Highly Motivated
- Local knowledge and experience is a must
- Driving License - Preferable
