Senior Analyst - Operations and Recruitment

We are looking for a bright individual to work in our Hyderabad office for the Operations and Recruitment department, which supports D. E. Shaw Research, in a wide variety of functions like recruitment, operations, and corporate development. D. E. Shaw Research is an independent scientific research laboratory engaged in the field of computational biochemistry.

The primary responsibilities of the candidate will include:

Recruitment

- Sourcing world-class talent through innovative projects.

- Managing the advertising efforts and analyzing its efficiency.

- Sourcing contacts for recruitment events hosted by DESRES across the globe.

- Tracking top-notch conferences for the research team and identifying sessions for them to attend and people to network with.

Operations

- Handling all backend recruitment operations like processing submissions from all sources, preparing candidate material for hiring managers- review, sending weekly pipeline updates to headhunters and handling candidate queries online.

- Maintaining process and project documentation.

- Maintaining a database of scientific research papers and patents.

- Identifying/troubleshooting infrastructural issues on the proprietary tools and coordinating enhancements.

Corporate Development

- Analyzing and reporting operational, technical, and recruitment related data.

- Tracking the ongoing research and technological advancements in the relevant fields.

- Gathering literature to support scientific research projects.

Internal Team Management

- Assisting with resource planning, work allocation, and project management.

- Contributing to training, mentoring and quality control.

The ideal candidate should have 3 - 6 years of experience in any domain. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with willingness to learn are essential for the role.
