Manager/Senior Manager - TMT/Energy - Financial Research

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad. The group works closely with front office groups to provide high quality and in-depth support to the investment research and decision processes of the Firm's global proprietary trading strategies. The candidate will work with portfolio managers and analysts in the fundamental equities investment teams of the Firm.

Primary responsibilities include :

- Supporting detailed modelling of company financials.

- Complete valuation, operational, peer group and sensitivity analysis.

- Development and maintenance of financial models.

- Research coverage for specific companies and sectors.

- Frequent contact with front office groups to iterate on financial models and investment thesis.

- Attending management / intermediary / sector expert calls.

- Developing industry sector expertise.

- Aiding front office data analysis efforts by collaborating closely with the technology development teams in the firm.

The ideal candidate should have an MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification with 5-10 years of experience in financial modelling, valuation, fundamental equity research and analysis in global financial markets, along with excellent communication skills. Experience in focused equity research within the Global TMT Space (Technology, Media and Telecom) or Global Energy space (Midstream/Oil Services/E&P/Refining/Alternative Energy/Utilities) is required.
