Analyst to track business news and analyse its impact | Startup | Founding member | Core team

Job Description

There are two main activities for the individual :

- The analyst needs to decipher a business news (related to any domain) and should be able to translate into simple English which can be understood by a layman.

- The individual should be able to understand a client's business (their competition, customers and govt bodies) and should be able to identify the news impacting the client's business. The individual should also be able to analyse the news items and report the impact on the clients business.

- We are currently developing the tools which will help the analyst identify the news items and ease the total effort in analysis for the analyst.

- We are startup in initial stages, we are forming the core team. This analyst would be identified as the founding team member and the complete compensation would be equity only. There will be small cash component as part of salary but after only few months of joining.

About Product:

- We track news for clients regarding their customers, competition, suppliers and also relevant government bodies which impact it's business. We provide actionable insights for the company in simple layman's terms.

- We use machine learning for content classification, information extraction and connections among multiple entities which reduces our total effort in analysis and allows us to perform analysis on scale.

- Along with that we track soft trends and hard trends of the sector which will help the company to keep itself ahead of the pack.
