Position: Senior Manager - Technology

Experience: 15+ yrs

- The Senior Manager - Technology will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee activities in the Engineering teams within / across accounts, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient solutions, operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of clients.

- Responsible for ensuring that design requirements are met, overseeing the consistency of user experiences, and managing a team of architects and horizontal practice teams.

- The responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and implementing clients policies and standards. Should have prior organizational leadership experience and be a technologist and strategic problem-solver. Should demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Job Location: Bangalore

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Establishes and implements the strategic direction of the company's engineering and development initiatives.

2. Identifies, recommends, and implements new technologies, products and tools to strengthen the value, speed and quality of deliverables.

3. Establishes, communicates, and implements engineering and development policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent operations.

4. Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in engineering and development related to the organizations industry.

5. Continually building and improving client relationships, both new and existing. Staying connected to changing client needs.

6. Staying connected to the engineering community, to build relationships; with the intent of building staff, design team structure, and culture.

7. Promote and instill a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency to the software/business processes.

8. Be an evangelist for technology & represent the company in external forums.

9. Continuous support for recruitments, interviews and learning and development.

Required Skills:

1. Previous working experience in software design and developing Digital Transformation and customer facing large scale application/product development.

2. Strong supervisory and leadership skills; leading the team through management and mentorship.

3. Technical knowledge on how end to end solution architecture is defined.

4. Hands-on experience in web technologies at some point in their career.

5. Hands-on experience / knowledge on mobile (Native / Hybrid) technologies.

6. Constructive and timely performance evaluations of technical resources.

7. Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure planning and provisioning. In depth knowledge of= designing cloud / on-premise / hybrid deployment models.

8. Extensive knowledge of building DevOps practice and implementation across teams.

9. Extensive experience in working with stakeholders to create hiring strategies to develop quality teams.

10. Extensive knowledge in end to end Solutioning in the area of AI / BI / Cloud / Mobility / Large scale systems / integrations and related architecture Patterns, Practices, Styles and approaches.

11. Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management.

12. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to establish trusted, effective relationships across diverse sets of stakeholders.

13. Strong leadership skills and an ability to hire and retain strong teams.

Desired skills:

1. Hands on experience in Java / Node / React

2. TOGAF Certification

3. AWS Certification

4. Agile Certification

5. DevSecOps knowledge

6. Experience in 2 or more business domains, preferably Banking.
