Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Lead

Seeking for DW/BI Lead position at Mumbai. Experience will be 8-15 years.

DW/BI Lead must have experience in Product Companies.

Job Description for Data Warehouse, Business intelligence Lead :

- A proven track record of leading architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of Data Warehouse and Reporting in a software product environment across Product lifecycle preferably in procurement and supply chain space

- Responsible for standardization and implementation of DW/BI/Reporting Architecture, Environments, Research and Development of new applications, Security, Data Architecture and Performance optimizations

- Strong experience with performance and scalability design and testing. Participates in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information content, data integrity, integration, and database performance with clients and other data processing staff.

- Strong techno-managerial leadership skills. Provides leadership, management and day-to-day direction to the data warehouse development team. Have managed a team of more than XYZ engineers for at least XYZ years, experience in DW/BI project management and people management a must.

- 8 to 10 years of Technology experience, at-least 5+ years Data warehouse / Business Intelligence experience

- Proven track record of designing large, complex Data Warehouse solutions, must have at-least 2 end to end DW/BI implementation experience in an Architect/Lead Design role.

- Hands-on development, troubleshooting, optimizing skills in SQL, ETL, Microsoft Azure, MicroStrategy products as well as as well as generating Ad-Hoc queries and reports on OLTP systems based on business requirements.

- Experience with with Big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, Impala etc), Analytics implementation, expertise in Java is desirable.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Lead productivity improvements, automation, best practices implementation. Aability to streamline production processes, prioritize tasks and report back on status of ongoing production activities.

- Collaborate and coordinate cross functional and engineering teams to resolve issues. Able to work in an ambiguous and highly interdependent work environment to drive and get things done in the most efficient and
tactful way

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a culturally diverse world-class engineering environment.
