Role :Data-ware house and Business Intelligence Leader - Pune location  Position Purpose:   This role will be responsible for helping in running and growing DWBI capabilities COE for the Global Services division. It needs a very strong focus on Consumer and Commercial Banking across different segments of the banking market. The Director will be responsible for enhancement of current services and solution portfolio, sourcing, deployment, evolution and on-going operations of advanced, cutting edge and leading DWBI and Data migration solutions. He / she will support the client needs, solutions and other functional practices within the organization. The Director will manage a team of DWBI Architects, data architects, solution designers and client engagement / program managers.  Director DWBI should be hands on professional experienced and passionate in data migration, data warehousing and Business Intelligence. Should have sufficient experience in architecture, solution design, technology evaluation, and most importantly, advancing the capabilities to fuel the competitive edge.  Essential Job Responsibilities:   - To create and execute a strategy that enables creation of new services and offerings on top of organisation's existing solution stack and independent services which can be taken to Banks and Credit Unions  - To be able to act as senior solution architect for handling complex data management, data migration and data warehousing scenarios  - To be able to Strategize and Govern large programs with multi party involvement and highly dynamic environment  - To work with Senior Executives in Organisation and in client organizations  - To work with sales teams and partner in solution and sales cycle.  - To be able to create and present proposals, RFP Responses etc. independently  - Providing leadership in the evaluation, conceptualization, design, and development of new capabilities, ensuring that technology choices and tradeoffs anticipate future needs while effectively satisfying short term requirements;   - Providing oversight to the design and delivery of big data platforms to support the ingestion and transformation of data from multiple sources  - Attracting, developing and retaining a pipeline of highly engaged, superior Data Management talent  - To lead large team size of 50+ folks - of various levels  - To mentor next level folks in terms of technology and management  Required Qualifications:   Education:  - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or post-graduate studies are preferred preferably engineering (IT) with an MBA or equivalent  - Additional qualifications and certifications on Banking  Job Related Experience -   Essential:  - Should have demonstrated experience in managing Data Management, Datawarehouse function / sub-function P&L in the past.  - Experience in designing Datawarehouse and Data Migration programs ( at least 4)  - Deep knowledge of Banking and financial services  - A minimum of 10-12 years supervisory experience and team management is required.   - Broad experience with multiple technologies in the area of ETL, business intelligence, reporting and descriptive analytics is required.   - Demonstrated experience of scoping and managing large, complex engagements and delivering solutions within schedule and budget, which are first time right.   - Sound technical knowledge - data base structures/querying, understanding of ETL and BI technologies like Informatica, Ab Initio, COGNOS etc.  - Experience with agile solution development methods is preferred.  - Experience managing and working with multi-regional and multi-functional teams in a matrixed environment is required.   - Strong written and verbal communication skills;   - Good problem management and decision-making skills  - Previous experience in technology leadership and relationship management.  - Previous Experience in working with various geographies  Desirable  - Knowledge on utilizing software development methodologies (waterfall, RUP, Agile)  - Knowledge and experience in running divisions/CoE, capability creation, training, content creation, managing knowledge artifacts and white papers on banking and related fields
