Purpose of the Job :

Data Scientist in procurement analytics is responsible for driving value creation in the Global procurement & sustainability organization and ABI's Vertical Operations

The objective of this job is :

- To conceptualize, develop and execute on analytical plans for business problems

- To translate raw global datasets available from various forum and design/build robust data models with intuitive visualization that drive decision making and business insights

- To design and develop the predictive models on various business process using multiple algorithms

- To align the business and statistics, to take effective dicisions. The method has to be replicable to all zones in ABI

- To apply advanced analytical skills and algorithms to drive the business KPI value. The aim is to drive value creation and focus on the KPI's that are linked to the E2E

- Explore agenda: track and actively propose new methods and concept

- Understand business objectives and convert them into analytical problems and solve it

- Data consolidation from various sources and formats and data mining

- Think out of the box, be able to implement all the ideas so operations can extract value out of it

Qualifications, Experience and Skills :

- Level of educational attainment required :

- Academic Degree - PhD in Data Analytics/Supply Chain or similar profiles

- Marketing Research, Quantitative Psychology, Economics, Econometrics, Political Science, Sociology, or any other field related to consumer research, business, and quantitative analysis

- Professional qualifications and accreditations/memberships required :

- Previous work experience required

- Experience building complex statistical models and analysis

- Survey research experience

- Experience in macroeconomics prediction

- Proven skills in translating statistics into insights

- Experience in Pricing strongly preferred

- Experience in visualization tool(PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau)

- Experience in CPG company preferred

- Depth knowledge of Text mining will be an added advantage

- Indepth knowledge of supply chain analytics will be an added advantage

Language skills required :

- English (Fluent)

- IT skills required

- Microsoft Office (mandatory)

- Statistical languages (R or Python) (mandatory)

- Databases, data management (mandatory)

- Data Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau)
