Data Scientist - NLP Systems - BFSI

Desired Skills:

- Strong background in developing NLP systems, a strong knowledge of ML and neural networks, and have experience working with large amounts of data.

- Strong software engineering skills and the ability to build systems at scale.

- Experience building machine learning systems by applying best-in-class solutions including feature engineering, and tuning of model hyperparameters

- Experience with a variety of NLP methods for information extraction, topic modeling, parsing, and relationship extraction .

- Deep expertise in Open source ML libraries tools like Apache Mahout, Apache Spark

- Deep learning / Google Tensor Flow / IBM Watson / Python for Machine Learning eg scikit

- Machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) skills are a must have - atleast 3 projects

- Experience in building large-scale NLP systems from researching a prototype to production

- Past experience in creating high-performance implementations of deep learning algorithms (optional)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Review integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality operations requirements

- Review integrate the Technical Architecture requirements provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software security

- Work closely with the Product team to understand current challenges when it comes to using, understanding and presenting the results of Text Analytics

- Undertake regular analysis of the issues and feedback of the customers, highlighting trends, suggestions and frequent issues that arise. Present this analysis to the Product team to review, so that actions may be taken, making recommendations.

- Devise a process of escalation and closure of issues that arise due to any inaccuracies that may occur due to the Text Analytics being generated
