Data Scientist - KPO

Job Summary :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to work as a - Data Scientist- for our client who can understand the hidden information patterns in the data that is related to the vast unorganized sectors in the nation. You would be working on the core Research and Development projects of emerging technology solutions for farmers. They work closely on real-world problems, which gives an opportunity to ideate and develop solutions that serve best for our customers. They are working to solve a unique problem with a unique approach. They aim to enter this unorganized sector and work with farmers, provide them the best of implementable technology and assistance. You will be part of our team and will work to drive this technology implementation

Responsibilities and Duties :

- An ideal candidate for this role should have skills set of data analysis application towards solving real world problems. 

- The primary skill sets required for this role are fundamentals of data analysis techniques such as machine learning and hands on experience with computer vision/Image processing. 

- The primary focus is analyzing the to create a prediction analysis system based on statistical data and video/image data

Responsibilities :

- Collecting visual data related to the growth of plants in different environments 

- Preprocess the visual and statistical data related to the growth stages of the plants 

- Creating machine learning models of image analysis, video analysis and combining the model's behaviors for better predictive analysis 

- Working with different departments in the organization in understanding the requirements for any RnD projects 

- Presenting the collected information using data visualization techniques 

- Few Technical skills that are needed: 

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

- Fair understanding of Python(Preferred)/C++ and OOPs concepts. 

- Hands on experience in Computer vision/Image processing is a primary skill 

- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages /drawbacks. 

- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications. 

- Proficiency with at least one deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Caffe, Keras, PyTorch etc Experience in any database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is an advantage Knowledge of Linux or any Unix shell (Bash, Z shell) will help with the job role
